MEET Dan

I was always a creative kid, but I never considered photography until I had to get surgery to correct a hernia in Ontario. I was nervous, so I spent the morning walking around the estate where the clinic was located with my mom's point-and-shoot camera to distract myself. At the time I thought I was pretty good. Looking back? Yikes. But we all start somewhere.

A few years later I'm at my stepsister Melissa's wedding. The energy was incredible, everyone was present, it was genuinely one of those days. Then the photographer left early, barely gave any direction, and when the photos came back they just missed it. All of it.

That's when it clicked. I knew I could do this differently.

Since then I've shot everything: weddings, portraits, commercial work, youth sports. But weddings are where I found my home because they actually matter. You've spent months searching all over Northern California for the perfect venue, so let's take the photos there. You've spent hours selecting every detail from the table settings to the bouquet, so I make sure I cover all of that too.

Before photography, I spent years in hospitality working mostly back of house but also front. I learned how to work hard while giving exceptional service, and that's exactly what I bring to every wedding. You're not a transaction, you're real people going through one of the biggest days of your lives, and I don't take that lightly.
