If you’ve followed my work for any length of time, you probably know that I’m all about real connection, natural beauty, and capturing emotion in a cinematic, yet grounded way. And when it comes to dream destinations for me as a wedding and elopement photographer, Iceland is at the very top of the list.
I’ve photographed weddings all across Northern California—redwoods, cliffs, beaches, vineyards—you name it. But Iceland has this magnetic pull on me, and it feels like the kind of place where my creativity would come alive in ways I haven’t experienced yet. It’s not just about the epic landscapes (though yeah, those are insane). It’s about the atmosphere, the energy, and the stories I could help tell in a place that feels like another world.
Iceland is raw. Wild. Emotional. And those are the exact words people often use to describe my photography style.
Whether it’s the way fog rolls through a glacier valley, the echo of waterfalls crashing into ancient rock, or the soft glow of a couple wrapped in wool blankets beneath the northern lights, there’s something about Iceland that feels like it was built for love stories that are just a little bit more bold, a little more intimate, and a whole lot more cinematic.
I’m drawn to places that have texture and contrast—soft light on sharp cliffs, deep shadows in wide open fields, golden sun flaring behind moody clouds. Iceland gives you all of that and more, sometimes in the span of an hour.
These are just a few of the moments I can already see in my head:
These aren’t just beautiful backdrops—they’re settings that elevate the emotion of the day. They feel alive, like they’re participating in the story.
My style is cinematic but grounded. I don’t aim for overly posed or perfect—I aim for honest, dynamic, and emotional. I look for movement, mood, and meaning. I’m always chasing good light, but I’m just as excited when a couple gets drenched in rain or wrapped in a thick fog—because those are the moments that feel real.
Iceland’s weather is unpredictable and its beauty is unfiltered. That’s what makes it perfect.
I love using the environment as a character in your story. Not just a backdrop, but something that feels connected to the couple. Iceland makes that easy. Its terrain is powerful but intimate. Vast but vulnerable. That duality matches exactly how I try to tell stories through my lens.
I’m open to it all—from small, intimate elopements to multi-day wedding celebrations with a handful of guests who don’t mind braving the elements. Here are a few ideas I’d love to bring to life:
Whether you’re getting married there or just traveling for an adventure session, I’m in.
Dreaming about an Iceland wedding is one thing—making it actually happen is another, and I’m here to help with both.
I don’t just show up and take photos. I help with:
So if you’ve been dreaming of eloping in Iceland, or planning a destination wedding that’s a little more wild and a lot more meaningful—I’d love to be the one to photograph it.
Iceland is a place I’ve been drawn to creatively for years, and I’m ready to bring everything I’ve learned behind the lens to help you create a day that’s unforgettably you. All the emotion, all the epic, all the tiny moments in between—let’s go chase them together.
